Job Overview :
The leasing consultant plays an integral role in the community by interacting with new prospective and existing residents on a daily basis.
This position is in support of the leasing manager and requires touring and educating news prospects on the benefits and lifestyle of living in the community.
Your Responsibilities :
Skills & Qualifications :
Education / Training : High school diploma or equivalency. State required real estate sales or broker’s license, basic computer skills, proficient use of all Microsoft office software, experience with Yardi and other management software platforms a plus, ability to work weekends, ability to ask questions and close a sale and the desire to prove your sales ability and advance your career.
Experience / Knowledge / Abilities :
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills. Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices, ability to perform with minimum supervision and make decisions independently.
Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize workload, meet hard and fast deadline. Must be a team player. Must possess strong analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with multiple tasks, information organization.
Physical Requirements :
Physical demands include ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Standing, sitting, walking. The employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
Vision Requirements :
Frequent need (66% to 100% of time) to complete forms, read and review reports, wide variety of correspondence, view computer screen.
Frequent need to see small detail.
Frequent need (33% to 66% of time) to see things clearly beyond arm’s reach (inspecting property, neighborhood survey)
Hearing Requirements :
Frequent need (66% to 100%of time) to communicate over telephone and in person with vendors, corporate and resident staff, residents and prospects.
Speaking Requirements :
Constant need (66% to 100% of time) to verbally communicate with home owners, vendors, and staff.

As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision.
In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
Compensation : $20 / hour Commission
