FirstService Residential is Hiring a Corporate Recruiter Near Austin, TX

Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions at multiple locations within the
organization. He or she will partner with management to anticipate and meet the growing needs of the organization to deliver
the best talent. The Recruiter will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage ongoing relationships with hiring
managers. The ideal candidate will be a true contributor to the growth of the company and provide the talent that makes our
company successful.

Responsibilities

. Develops and implements strategic initiatives for sourcing and recruiting diverse talent within a multi-site organization.
. Evaluates the qualifications of candidates, screens and interviews. Make recommendations for interview and hire.
. Partners with recruiting coordinator to schedule interviews and initiate offer letter and clearance process, including
background checks
. Administers pre-employment skills testing and tracks results. Maintains inventory of testing units.
. Extends and negotiates job offers. Prepares and issues offer letters.
. Partners with corporate, regional, and on-site managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
. Manages the full-cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels; creates and implement
employment strategies to attract job seekers. Networks and builds a pipeline of potential future hires.
. Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and
candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
. Develops strong and effective relationships and partners with hiring managers. Works closely with hiring managers to
maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
. Regularly follows up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
. Actively participates in all staffing-related activities and engages in cross-functional projects for HR.
. Implements an effective recruiting program through the company website, internet and job boards to ensure that a
sufficient candidate pipeline is always in place. Prepares and posts job ads.
. Manages ATS, job boards, and other web-based recruiting resources.
. Ensures corporate and legal compliance with processes, procedures, and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.
. Files and maintains all documents related to recruiting.
. Works with HR Director to develop effective recruiting strategies and efficient processes and procedures.
. Coordinates and participates in job fairs as needed.
. Develops and implements training programs related to recruiting, selection, and retention for new hiring managers.
. Other HR-related duties as assigned.

Operating Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: Minimum of three years of recruiting experience; strong understanding and ability to recruit
across all levels of an organization. Some experience in general HR functions ideal. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication
skills and team-based experience. Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle with mapping and sourcing
resumes from all resources. Strong vendor management skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job
boards. Superior customer service skills. Must be able to multi-task in an ever-changing environment.
Computer Literacy: Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet
research.
Special Requirements: Physical demands include ability to lift up to 25lbs; standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing. The
employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended
periods of time. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. Ability to work extended/flexible hours and
weekends based on project requirement. Driving when necessary; must have valid driver's license. Regular and predictable
attendance.
Vision Requirements: Constant need (66% to 100% of time) to complete forms, read and review reports, wide variety of
correspondence, view computer screen. Frequent need to see small detail. Frequent need (33% to 66% of time) to see things
clearly beyond arm's reach (inspecting property, neighborhood survey)
Hearing Requirements: Constant need (66% to 100%of time) to communicate over telephone and in person with vendors,
corporate and resident staff, residents and prospects.
Reasoning Development: Moderate - Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and
accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations; must be able to think rationally
beyond a specific set of instructions. High - Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure, and meet
deadlines in a timely manner, to interact/communicate with other employees, residents, visitors and the public in a professional
and pleasant manner.
Speaking Requirements: Constant need (66% to 100% of time) to verbally communicate with home owners, developers, vendors,
and resident staff.
Driving Requirements: Driving as required using own transportation. Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance
required.
