FirstService Residential is Hiring a Community Associate Near North Las Vegas, NV

As a Community Associate, you will be assisting the Community Manager with the homeowners' association's operational aspects. Responsibilities include providing owners with a superior level of service when visiting the facility through an increased level of understanding and knowledge regarding the Association and clubhouse offerings. Interactions are typical with HOA homeowners and Board Members in person, via telephone, or through written correspondence within the timelines as defined by company policy and/or Community Manager Directive.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintains positive and professional communication with each owner to create, enhance and promote friendly interaction between owners and FirstService staff.
  • Maintains regular and positive communication with assigned Community Managers to create, enhance, and promote daily positive interaction among members of the FirstService team.
  • Identifies and clarifies residents' needs regarding their association and/or property while maintaining owner confidentiality and keeping Community Manager informed.
  • Initiates preparation of Management Reports, committee reports, meeting notices, and board packages as applicable and submits for Manager's review and approval.
  • within the timelines specified by the Community Manager.
  • Takes minutes at the Board of Directors meetings to provide to the manager for review within 24 hours of the meeting.
  • Conducts data entry projects, as assigned, including but not limited to Homeowner Paperwork filing, and packet preparation.
  • May be required to conduct compliance inspections of the homes and/or condominium units in the portfolio of associations.
  • May be required to finalize an inspection report to ensure they are sent out within 48 hours.
  • May be required to ensure that non-compliance issues are followed up in a timely manner and in accordance with the Association policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Community Manager(s) and Regional Manager.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have strong experience with customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize daily workload.
  • Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. This position requires working in a professional indoor setting and occasionally walking outside in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk extensive slope and/or flat association areas and visually review landscape, buildingareas, recreation facilities, parks, etc. to ensure proper maintenance.
  • Ability to work late into evenings as required for board meeting attendance.

Location: North Las Vegas – zip code area 89084

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

What We Offer:

As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and vision, in addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional local travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
