FirstService Residential is Hiring a Community Appearance and Lifestyle Coordinator Near Windermere, FL

$16-$18/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Appearance and Lifestyle Coordinator will conduct regular inspections of the entireproperty/properties for the purpose of complying with the Association's Rules and Regulations and theArchitectural/Landscaping Standards, to administrate the process of notifications for violations, fines and work directly with the Property Manager, and community processes.As part of their lifestyle responsibilities, they will oversee and facilitate a growing lifestyle department whichincludes planning and hosting various size events throughout the year.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Associations' Rules and Regulations per property.
  • Monitor the property/properties, clubhouse, athletic center, as well as all other operating facilities toensure that all compliances are being met.
  • Conduct daily reviews homes for the purpose of identifying violations of Rules and Regulations.
  • Document violations; follow-up via violation process by recording and entering violations into the systemand giving the hard copies to the Property Manager.
  • Take photos of each violation on each property.
  • Send Courtesy and Fine notices as required.
  • Ensure copies of such notices are distributed and filed as required.
  • Complete a follow-up inspection on approved requests, to ensure what was approved was completed.
  • Complete and send daily and weekly violation reports to Property Manager.
  • Review and process Architectural Review Committee Applications.
  • Provide reports and logs to Property Managers for inclusion in weekly highlights and monthly reports.
  • Provide a weekly summary of properties inspected and number of violations to direct supervisor for thepurpose of providing the information to the Senior Managers as well.
  • Send Supervisor daily calendar listings of all properties and number of violations for the day. Calendar willbe cumulative for the month and will be monitored when visits are being made.
  • Take last month's violation list to each property and see if that violation has been corrected or if it is now apotential2nd or 3rd violation. (Which is also recorded the same).
  • Organize all resident activities, on and off premises, theme parties, holiday celebrations, movies, cardgames, exercise programs, etc.
  • Conduct an assessment to determine those activities in which the residents would be most interested inpursuing and/or participating.
  • Supervise the development of new and existing clubs that reflect thee interests of the Community.
  • Document resident participation in group and/or individual social/recreational programs.
  • Manage all areas of special events, games and entertainment encouraging participation.
  • Supervise catering (food and beverage) for functions.
  • Supervise decorating and promotions for functions (where needed).
  • Coordinate all club meetings and use of rooms.
  • Keep calendar of activities for the community.
  • Oversee the activity budget to ensure that costs are maintained within budgetary guidelines.
  • Take pictures of Community events, parties and other special occasions.
  • Plan special "theme" days or months around holidays, seasons, or recognized days such as Father's orMother's Day.
  • Assist in soliciting and secure sponsorships and support funding from local businesses and organizations.
  • Manage clubhouse rental program to maximize rental revenue.
  • Assist other departments as directed by Community Association Manager (ie. daily incoming phone callsupport). Cross-train on administrative functions and overall HOA policies, procedures & rules to supportadministrative office during staff
  • Provide five-star customer service at all times by attending to all calls and messages immediately.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Other duties as required.

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Education/Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or in the process of completing education.
  • College degree preferred but not required.

Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Will train, must have attention to detail and be organize
  • Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, regulations or documents with a similar degreeof complexity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy: Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

Special Requirements:

  • Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing.
  • The employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking onthe phone for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
  • Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends.
  • Driving required.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
