FirstService Residential is Hiring an AR Coordinator - Owner Records Near Las Vegas, NV

Job Summary

Responsible for processing of ownership changes, balances transfers, reversal, write offs and refunds as outlined in Title documents; This position requires an understanding of property ownership rules, recoding of the deed, and foreclosure transactions. A background in HOA industry is preferred.

Pay: $ 16.50 per hr. * Monday through Friday* * Full benefits* Work location: 8290 Arville st. Las Vegas NV, 89139

Responsibilities

  • Work as a team member and in accordance with FirstService Global Service Standards
  • Operate within GAAP and FirstService Accounting guidelines
  • Ensure all customer contact is handled in accordance with established procedures
  • Review and analyze documentation from Title Companies to properly record changes of ownership, disposition of balances and posting of payments
  • Responsible for processing of Bad Debt write off and Homeowner Refunds
  • Process address changes requests, and account updates
  • Research, identify, and analyze discrepancies and recommend clear solutions
  • Provide highest level of service to internal and external customers requesting assistance to resolve escalated escrow issues
  • Responsible for providing resale documentation to HOA Clientele including but not limited to, homeowners, Board Members, Escrow/Title agents, and Realtors
  • Correspond daily with industry professionals by phone or written correspondence to provide necessary information they need to move forward with the sale, refinance, or purchase of a home within the communities we manage
  • Must possess time management and organization skills to effectively prioritize multiple objectives and achieve volume goals
  • Interacts successfully with all levels of management
  • Assist and support other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven high degree of accuracy along with an attention to detail for numbers
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. (2 Year Degree Preferred)
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent people, team building and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills to include application and percentages.
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and work effectively with little or no supervision.
  • Strong Time Management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information/discretion must be used in releasing any information
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new tasks
  • Willingness and ability to work in a fast paced environment to handle a large volume
  • Ability to successfully work with a wide range of personnel including community managers, assistants, Board Members and all levels of management personnel
