Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow established protocols and procedures for infection control
- Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:
- Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred
- Knowledge of care systems and best practices
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in a nursing home or assisted living setting
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs
- Current certification in First Aid is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
