What will I be doing?
Our Maintenance Technicians will continuously go through trainings to have a deep understanding of our practices, policies, state & federal regulations such as lead based paint, ADA, Fair Housing, HAZCOM Programs, and OSHA. Training will also include understanding how to effectively use our property management software program Yardi which is used on a company issued tablet. Pursuing additional certifications to showcase your expertise in the field. Driving a company vehicle safely to and from our rental properties:
- Work with our residents on demonstrating the level of professionalism and ability to complete service requests in a timely manner
- Building positive resident experience with our residents by helping your market earn top reviews
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, water irrigation systems, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, roofing / ceiling leaks, Interior/exterior lights and fans, flooring, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors and locks
- Upkeep of your Type II or Universal EPA certification
- Abiding by good driving practices while operating FirstKey Homes vehicle
- Partner with other FirstKey Homes associates related to projects, updates, issues
