Reviews supply orders and accurately gathers and delivers supplies to appropriate departments. Maintains assigned inventory location: includes inventory replenishment, inventory rotation and proper disposal of empty boxes. Performs cycle counts. Monitors stock-outs and shortages.
Qualifications: High School graduate. One year experience in a supply or hospital environment. Prefer experience with medical/surgical supplies or completion of medical terminology course. Ability to adjust to performing multiple functions at a demanding pace. Must be able to learn and retain a basic knowledge of automated inventory systems and medical equipment and supplies.
This position frequently requires lifting and carrying articles weighing up to 25 pounds. Must push or pull carts with supplies or equipment totaling 70 pounds.
