Develops programs to meet the needs of members and participants in aquatics programs.#Develops and communicates swim lesson schedule for all facilities with pools.#Assist in development and upkeep of all aquatic related marketing and information.#Communicate to past participants regarding new opportunities.#Coordinate communication with schools, parks and rec departments and other organizations.#Maintain advertisings working with Corp. Communications to effectively communicate programs.#Coordinates all interaction with Planning Design and Construction and Facilities Management for work related to the Pinehurst location.#Manages an inventory control process for aquatic program supplies and housekeeping supplies.#Makes recommendations for purchase of all aquatic and housekeeping equipment.#Ensures proper cleaning and disinfection of all areas of center.#Teaches swim lessons and other aquatics related education programs.Trains staff at all FirstHealth fitness facilities with pools regarding instructing swim lessons.##Assists with certain other programs such as, but not limited to, birthday parties and certain children#s special events at center as needed.#Recruits, screens, selects, and trains high caliber employees.# Assures that each employee has met the orientation, training or certification requirements of the position, and maintains a current CPR certification.#Maintains employee performance through consistent application of FirstHealth standards. Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor certification required.# North Carolina Certified Pool Operator required within 6 months of hire.# American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer certification preferred.# Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years successful working experience in a fitness environment. #Associate or bachelor#s degree in a fitness, business or recreation related field preferred. The applicant should also have experience in program development for aquatics, fitness or recreation.# Applicants should posses excellent organizational skills, visible enthusiasm and interpersonal skills; must have verbal ability to direct and control activities and staff. #
