- Communicate effectively with subordinates, peers and senior management and non-company personnel to ensure optimal performance and resolution of problems.
- Develop, implement and monitor Live Production budgets.
- Enforce compliance with company requirements regarding bio-security, food safety and poultry welfare programs and policies.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state and federal regulations as they relate to poultry production.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Analyze trends and variables to identify problem areas or successes and take appropriate action.
- 5 years of relevant experience (with a degree.)
- Poultry husbandry experience
- Hatchery experience
- Broiler experience
- Feed mill experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to Animal Welfare guidelines.
- Knowledge of and commitment to OSHA guidelines for live poultry production and feed mill facilities.
