First Technology Federal Credit Union is Hiring a Regulatory Deposit Services and Reporting Associate II (HYBRID) Near Hillsboro, OR
The Regulatory Deposit Services and Reporting (RDSR) Associate II processes specific banking transactions in a timely and complete manner through a variety of complex technology systems. This position also proactively conducts quality control measures (QC) on assigned processes. This position also responds to member and employee inquiries on a timely and accurate basis. The Associate II consistently evaluates transactions for critical risk including approval/limit requirements and fraud, reporting internally or contacting the member as appropriate.

Job Duties:
Process a high volume of regulatory banking transaction, includingIRA transactions, tax corrections, government reporting and deposit account maintenancein an efficient and accurate mannerwith minimal management oversight
Navigate a variety of complex technology systems with various processing functions and deadlines, meeting department Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Respond timely and accurately to member and internal partner inquiries by phone, email or mail
Manage and properly store comprehensive up to date records of member communication, correspondence, activities and transactions
Work extensively with members and internal partners to research and resolve member, vendor and internal issues throughout day and adjust tasks and priorities as appropriate (e.g.: Customer Information Profile (CIP), etc.), escalating any potential problems to leadership and/or Senior Associate(s) as required
Support Senior Associates in processing specific regulatory activities, including Escheatment, Tax Identification Maintenance, deceased estate and probate account maintenance, IRA management, garnishments/levies and tax reporting
Identify and communicate process improvement ideas to Senior Associates and Leadership
Track and validate transactional reports for accuracy and collaborate with Senior Associates and leadership regarding results and themes
Perform member outreach and provide train Associates
Essential skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in data entry/analysis and customer service
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, autonomously handling a variety of responsibilities in a complex environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
Proven ability to professionally handle sensitive documents
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
Familiarity with governmental banking regulatory reporting activities is preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum Education: High School Diploma with some post-secondary education preferred
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour annual bonus
