Full-time in office position

An Order Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely processing of customer Purchase Orders from sales order placement to Fulfillment, by interacting with company’s customers, suppliers, and in-house sales team. Provide a high level of customer order support on importing marine, trailer, and watersport accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet customer demands.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers, across multiple channels email, EDI, customer’s Websites.
• Maintain close communications with customers and suppliers about order logistics both written and verbal.
• Provide assistance to sales team when new items are ordered and logistical timing.
• Codes sales orders with account numbers by sales/product classifications for cost of goods sold, keypunches sales orders into computerized accounts receivable system.
• Receives completed sales orders from shipping; verifies accuracy and completeness of all required information including current pricing, extensions, discounts applied, and shipping and handling charges.
• Maintain and update customer websites with logistical information as required.
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
• Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors and customers.
• Prints, verifies, and maintains accounts receivable invoice records, sales and cost of sales reports, open and aging reports, and journals.
• Verifies monthly totals of sales distribution, sales history, returns, and allowances and cash receipts journal. Coordinates closing with Business Manager.
• Communicates with customers regarding their billing and assists the Credit
• Manager with collections.
• Performs other accounting duties as requested by the Business Manager.
• Review Packaging artwork and proofread for recommended changes.

• Proficient with computer-based management systems for inventory control, shipping operations, and fulfillment services.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience in order processing
• Experience with marine and paddle sport products is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• NetSuite experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
