- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support in a medical setting
- Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare professionals
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a similar healthcare role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic pharmacology
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software
- Proficient in performing basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medications
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
