First National Bank of Michigan is Hiring a Teller (Part Time) Near Portage, MI

The Teller is responsible for providing a high degree of professional customer service to our customers while performing accurate and efficient financial transactions. The teller will provide resolution to customer requests and is responsible for recommending solutions and services in an effort to grow and retain First National Bank of Michigan customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Previous Teller or cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees is required.
  • Comprehensive mathematical skills are required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with computers, telephone, 10-key calculator, and other office machinery.
  • Ability to make sound decisions; making on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions; weighing customer satisfaction issues with the Bank’s exposure to loss or fraud and the ability to think through and rationalize decisions.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the Bank’s needs and the public image, as well as customer and employee goodwill.
  • Knowledge of retail banking regulations, Teller roles, and the responsibilities relating to each.
  • Positive, collaborative, and effective interpersonal skills.
