First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Real Estate Customer Service Specialist to join our team at the Mortgage Service Center. In this role, you will perform customer service in resolution of requests and inquiries pertaining to real estate mortgage loan servicing from both internal and external customers. Additionally, the RE Customer Service Specialist will conduct research, validate, and respond to oral and written inquiries on a timely basis to the customers.

Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; hours may vary

Compensation:

The hourly salary range for this role is $16.33 - $23.42/hr; commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate degree and/or relevant experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working with mortgage loans or customer service in banking required
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
• Time management essential in completing duties accordingly
• Proficient using a 10-key touch
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and understand complex legal documents, requirements, and policies
