First Community Bank is Hiring a Teller Supervisor Near Rock Hill, SC

Position Summary

Responsible forcoordinating teller staff activities in the Banking Office. Also, responsible for completing all TellerSupervisor tasks and providing leadership for the teller staff.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Oversee dailytransactions of teller staff as to provide superior customer service with minimalservice problems. Includes ensuringaccurate and timely processing of basic transactions and services.
  • Maintain vaultcash supply and assist tellers in maintaining their teller window supplies.
  • Order andshipping of cash supply and ensuring accuracy of count while maintaining branchlimits.
  • Oversee vault securityand teller alarm equipment.
  • Authorize tellertransactions including payment of checks within assigned limit.
  • Identify risksand/or problems with new account deposits, regulatory compliance, overdraftauthority, and Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Carry out specific supervisory responsibilitiesincluding assisting manager in: scheduling work hours of teller staff and arrangingfor coverage, partnering with the Training Department to schedulecontinuing education for staff and routine coaching and counseling including providingfeedback to Retail Banker
  • Assist tellers with complex transactions and customerissues to ensure timely and professional resolution.
  • Assist with risk management practices to include managementof teller differences, losses and teller errors.
  • Handleproportionate volume of work based on banking office demands.
  • Conduct bankingoffice audits.
  • Build customerloyalty through courtesy and friendliness including referring customers toother Bank staff as needed.
  • Follow bankpolicies and procedures, security guidelines, and comply with all federal,state and local regulations.
  • Support teamsales process by identifying and acting upon customer needs or by making theappropriate referral. Leads andparticipates in team sales efforts such as team sales goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5years related job experience, or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate willingness and desire to interact in ateam environment.
  • Ability to compute basic to moderately complex mathcalculations.
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and officeproducts (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated supervisory and management skills.
  • Demonstrated coaching skills.
