Due to rapid growth, First Call Logistics is searching for a skilled Accounting Representative to join our expanding team in our Louisville, KY office.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Representative will perform assigned duties within the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This position reports in person to the Louisville, KY office Monday through Friday.

Detailed Duties & Responsibilities:

· Prepare daily deposits and post those deposits to the appropriate accounts.

· Reviews accounts payable invoices, analyzes financial records for accuracy and assigns vendor numbers and similar identifying data.

· Enters vendor information into the accounting software system and verifies invoice information is maintained accurately.

· Issues payments to vendors as approved.

· Reviews and reconciles vendor account invoice discrepancies.

· Processes routine monthly payments as approved.

· Provide professional representation and support to customers, vendors and fellow employees.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

· Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong critical thinking skills.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Exceptional time management

· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

· Ability to type 30 words per minute.

· Experience with accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required, with some bookkeeping coursework. Associate degree preferred.

· Minimum of one year of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
