Position Summary
Our Universal Bankers have a passion for building relationships, filling customer needs and delivering excellent customer service. The person in this position is the face of First Bank Texas and uses their creativity, curiosity, and relationship skills to exceed customer expectations. You will provide expert financial advice and great service, while adhering to established Bank policies, procedures, and objectives. Performs any function, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers. Strive for excellence in conducting needs-based conversations to identify solutions for customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Developing and maintaining customer relationships by using our needs-based solution development process.
  •  Being fully knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of teller, vault, ATM processing as well as safe deposit and cash recycler at applicable branches
  •  Adhering and complying with new account opening procedures including compliance requirements for both personal and business account relationships
  •  Assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services
  •  Identifying opportunities to offer all bank services
  •  Opening, maintaining, and closing of all account types
  •  Promoting business for First Bank Texas by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services
  •  Participating in monthly branch audit activities
Qualifications
  • At least three (3) years banking experience
  • Experience with needs-based selling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and listening proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service to all clients
