Firewall Centers is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Success Coach at Walter C Young Middle School. Firewall Centers provides daily, school-based tutoring and mentoring services designed to help students achieve academic success, build character, and transform into servant leaders.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Provide students with guidance and mentoring, individualized goal development, and tracking. Coordinate services with Broward County Public Schools through relationships with teachers, parents, counselors, etc. to help students set and attain academic behavioral goals.
• Provide strength-based case management, including ensuring that students and their families connect to needed services (food, housing, social services, counseling, etc.)
• Ensure that the assigned center is running efficiently – thus solving problems, mediating conflicts, and providing accountability to everyone connected with the center in order to achieve program objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong "people skills" and the ability to work well with students, staff, parents, teachers, and school administrators
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite & Google Suite
• Highly organized with good time-management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
