Laboratory Technician (Hooksett, NH)

Job Overview:

The Laboratory Technician will be assisting with various testing of sports fields, courts, and surfacing materials in the laboratory. This is a unique opportunity for someone who has a love of sports and an interest in laboratory experience. This job will also give you the ability to work in relation to some of the most prestigious stadiums in the world including many NFL, NCAA, and FIFA installations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with laboratory testing preparation and procedures
  • Sample construction in the laboratory
  • Material inventory and calibration
  • Sample receiving and cataloging
  • Assisting with testing in accordance with ASTM, EN and other international standards
  • Recording data and testing results
  • General laboratory organization and cleaning
  • Some local driving (with company vehicles) required for shipping, airport transportation, etc.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in sports and related subjects
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with good problem solving skills
  • Must be able to life 50-80 pounds
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Organization and record keeping
  • Ability to keep a schedule and be on time
  • Computer/Microsoft Office Skills
  • General understanding of math, physics and/or materials science recommended but not required
  • Prior laboratory experience recommended

No prior experience necessary, on-the-job training will be provided.
