Summary:
Responsible for execution of all grocery deliveries
Essential Functions:
- Accountable for operating company vehicle safely and efficiently
- Accountable for loading, transporting, and delivering items to assigned locations in a safe, timely manner
- Accountable for ensuring all deliveries are made within an eight hour shift unless otherwise approved
- Accountable for checking product dates and rotating products based on dates including back stock when necessary
- Accountable for completing daily tasks such as but not limited to daily grocery routes, check in and check out processes, maintaining cooler cleanliness
- Accountable for vehicle cleanliness and organization as well as communicating vehicle maintenance needs as soon as they arise
- Accountable for completing accurate routing logs and reports
- Accountable for store satisfaction and overall experience including establishing and maintaining outstanding relations with our customers
- Accountable for store to store sales and ensuring good product placement and consistent communication with deli managers
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed and necessary
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver
- Valid professional drivers license
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Cannot be convicted of a felony.
- Ability to multi-task and quickly think on your feet.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Ability to be self-motivated and take initiative.
- Ability to enforce company’s standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
- Possess good communication skills to speak with location managers and employees.
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey self-confidence.
