Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: As a Community Solar Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential and small business customers in your community. You'll educate them about the advantages of subscribing to a local community solar farm, emphasizing the environmental benefits and cost savings.

Consultative Sales: You'll use your expert knowledge of solar energy to conduct consultative sales discussions with potential customers. This involves understanding their energy needs, explaining the benefits of community solar, and customizing solutions to meet their requirements.

Building Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is essential. You'll be their trusted advisor, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing ongoing support throughout their subscription.

Community Outreach: Beyond individual sales, you'll actively participate in community outreach programs and events to raise awareness about the benefits of community solar. This may include canvassing, organizing workshops, attending local fairs, and collaborating with community organizations.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and our community solar offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly.

Sales Targets: You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers.
