- POSITION SUMMARY:
- In accordance to established policies and procedures, supervises the daily operations of the department. Provides supervision and on-going training to employees assigned to work in the Housekeeping and Linen Departments.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION:
- Minimum:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred:
- A.A.S. degree in appropriate field
- LICENSE:
- PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
- Minimum:
- IEHA Associate membership or equivalent
- WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum:
- Two years as a Housekeeping Aide or one year as Housekeeping Team Leader.
- Preferred:
- Prior supervisory experience
- SKILLS:
- Minimum:
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
- Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets,
- Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point.
