Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising construction sites, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendors
- Ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment
- Develop and implement project schedules and timelines
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders and address any issues that arise
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and plans
- Familiarity with construction estimating and budgeting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and building codes
- Experience with Xactimate software is a plus
