Fine Print Construction, a premier construction firm based in Philadelphia specializing in market rate and affordable housing projects, is seeking an experienced construction superintendent with a proven track record overseeing multi-unit buildings and single-family construction. With upcoming projects on the horizon, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our endeavors.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design discrepancies, technical challenges, and construction-related issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and change orders.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to promote effective communication and project cohesion.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to on-site staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a focus on multi-unit building projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly related to multi-unit residential buildings.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in the Philadelphia area.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, prioritizing tasks, and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification and/or other relevant credentials preferred.
