FINDLAY AUTOMOTIVE PRESCOTT IS GROWING FAST! Our Prescott campus represents TOYOTA, BUICK, GMC, HYUNDAI & SUBARU. We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our amazing team. Job purpose

The HR Generalist handles and provides support for various HR employee programs within the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Performs HR duties and coordinates human resource programs and procedures for all company employees
  • Conducts employee onboarding, orientation and training programs
  • Assists with payroll processing to include employee time-card approval, pay plan changes, etc.
  • Resource for all company employees as relates but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Investigations, Inquiries, Concerns, Questions, and Compliance
  • Administers various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation personnel policies and procedures. 
  • Participates in FMLA and Wellness benefits administration
  • Assists with EEO-1 annual compliance filings
  • Assists with the exit interview process
  • Assists in organizational training and development efforts
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database as needed.
  • Participates in various administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documents.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good listener. Approaches each situation with an open mind.
  • Relationship Management
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative in completing assigned tasks.
  • Strong attention to details
  • PHR Certification highly desirable
  • 3-5 years of job-related experience, preferably in a Human Resources department. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems
