Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, partnerships development, corporate advisory, business development, or business strategy.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to manage fast-paced environments with effective time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and self-direct operational initiatives, and comfortable managing ambiguity.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

We help the Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships team execute on its mandate. As chief of staff to the head of Knowledge and Information Partnerships (K&IP) and leads. You will drive cross-K&IP projects aimed at improving decision making processes and enhancing the organization's ability to execute. Additionally, we design and power some of the critical processes the K&I, Partners and Devices, and News Partnerships teams depend on to run their organizations.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Chief of Staff for the head of the Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships organization and the broader leadership team.
  • Identify opportunities, shape strategies, and articulate plans to allow K&I Partnershipsto effectively execute its mission.
  • Design and execute on critical processes cross-cutting Partners and Devices, K&I, and News partnerships organizations.
  • Lead a high-performing strategy and operations team, foster excellence and inclusive team norms, support the professional development of each team member, and build a trusted advisor relationship with critical stakeholders.
