As a Product Owner Digital, you will work with an Agile development team to build features and applications for Finance of America's customer HUB. As a connecting point between product management and technology, you will utilize a unique blend of business and technical savvy to make the company vision a reality. As a member of the HUB platform product management team, you will take an active role in amplifying the voice of the customer and the product line strategy to your development team. 

EXPECTATIONS

• Translates business goals into product strategy through research, customer needs and deep collaboration with supporting delivery functions. Partners cross-functionally to transform customer needs and technologies into product definitions. 
• Develops business plan for products and participates in the phases of product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing and integration of products. 
• Establishes objectives and key results (OKRs) to identify areas of improvement and track measurable goals that aligns and prioritizes work for the team. Develops product roadmaps, benefit hypothesis, feature lists and user stores/requirements. 
• Gathers and manages product feedback through directly interfacing with users to understand challenges and collaboratively generate solutions. 
• Partners with both design to establish product usability and engineering to ensure product feasibility. 
• Writes meaningful user stories to ensure that the product team understand and can execute expectations. 
• Works with product marketing to develop product launch strategy and product market fit. 
• Leverages data and analytics to guide leaders in the product organization to make recommendations and enhance business objectives. 
• Develops and tracks key metrics to measure success.
• Identifies potential downstream impacts that arise from intiatives. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION - REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable qualifications

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• 5 years of experience as a product owner in leading technology.
• Ability to effectively break down a business problem into technical workstreams.
• General understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and services is a plus.
• Financial technology experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables.
• Successfully launched new products and features working closely with engineers and designers.
• Expertise in driving product development for enterprise customers.
• Ability to evaluate new technologies, articulate customer insights, test, learn, and make clear, analytical recommendations.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive results while juggling many priorities and under tight timeframes.
• Comfort with ambiguity as this role will evolve based on strategy and product priorities and development of new initiatives.

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this position is ($120,000 - $150,000), inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
