Finance Authority of Maine is Hiring a Business Programs Manager Near Augusta, ME

Description:

FAME is seeking a knowledgeable, driven and compassionate individual to become part of the Business Team as a Business Programs Manager. The individual in this position is responsible for administering and managing FAME’s portfolio of commercial loans, managing workout officer, programs specialist, commercial loan assistants, and commercial loan administrator, maintaining consistent operations and process improvements, and supporting FAME products and services. In collaboration with the senior commercial loan officer, the individual will identify process improvement opportunities and onboard new programs accordingly.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will meet the following minimum education, experience, and work requirements:

  • Four (4) year college degree in social sciences, business or related field is required (or an appropriate combination of education and work experience).
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience, preferably commercial lending, or commercial loan servicing experience. Previous experience leading a customer service team.
  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of automated financial delivery systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial lending programs, workflows and processes required.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in interpersonal relations, and oral and written communication.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills are required. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment are required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and staff development skills.
  • Must possess a positive, achievement-oriented attitude to build strong relationships with all clients, vendors and staff.
  • Motivated, self-starter with proven team building skills.
  • Ability to balance role as individual contributor as well as work in a close team environment, strong team building skills; work independently; and interact effectively with management and peers required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and provide recommendations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory audits and State and Federal compliance rules preferred.
