Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our team. As a Dock Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts.
- Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and ensure accurate order picking
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any issues or malfunctions for repair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by properly storing materials and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
