Final Element Staffing Solutions LLC in partnership with a prestigious law firm, is seeking a dedicated Probate Paralegal to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a renowned legal practice and work alongside seasoned professionals in the field.

***This is not a remote position and requires to be in office Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.***

Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Probate Paralegal to join their legal team. As a Probate Paralegal, you will play a vital role in assisting attorneys in the preparation and management of estate planning documents, probate proceedings, and trust administration matters. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to providing exceptional legal services to our clients during crucial and sensitive times.

Responsibilities:

Document Preparation:

· Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and beneficiary designations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.

· Extend high-level support to attorneys by assisting in transactions, contract drafting, and business formation endeavors whenever required.

Client Communication:

· Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for estate planning purposes and provide updates on the progress of probate matters.

· Offer compassionate and professional support during emotional and challenging times.

Probate Administration:

· Assist in probate and trust administration processes, including preparing and filing necessary court documents, maintaining case calendars, compiling transaction accounting, assisting with tax documents and deadlines, and facilitating asset transfers to

· Prepare pleadings to open and close decedent’s estates.

· Oversee the administration of probate estates, trusts, and guardianship estates.

· Manage pleadings to open and close guardianship estates.

· Manage estate administration tasks, including asset distribution and filings in probate court, with meticulous attention to detail.

Legal Research:

· Conduct legal research to support estate planning and probate matters, staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.

Client Record Management:

· Maintain organized and confidential client files, ensuring all documents and communications are accurately recorded and maintained.

Assist in Meetings:

· Prepare meeting materials, schedule appointments, and attend client meetings.

Collaboration with Attorneys and Team:

· Work collaboratively with attorneys, fellow paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure seamless workflow and the highest level of client service.

Compliance and Deadlines:

· Monitor and track deadlines for estate planning documents, probate filings, and trust administration tasks to ensure timely execution.

What you need to succeed:

· Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a legal setting.

· Paralegal certification preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.

· Exceptional communication and organizational abilities to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.

· Proficiency in estate planning and probate practices, with a solid understanding of related legal frameworks and procedures.

· Demonstrated skill in drafting estate planning documents and managing trust distributions and probate filings.

· Prior experience in corporate law considered a strong asset, enhancing versatility and adaptability within the role.

Experience:

· Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)

· Corporate Law: 1 year (Preferred)

· Probate/Estate Planning: 2 years (Preferred)

· Paralegal Certification (Preferred)
