Clear Edge is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Lead to manage the daily and weekly activities for the Shipping and Receiving team. This self-starter will use daily reports to prioritize and delegate workload for their team to achieve their daily and monthly metrics. This results driven individual will effectively collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure the Shipping Department is achieving the planned schedule.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compiling and understanding daily shipping reports.
• Lead morning meetings and present daily metrics to management team.
• Manage shipping transactions ensuring that transactions are posted in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manages shipping documentation, bills of lading, invoices, and other records to determine shipping priorities and methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure that all shipments are received correctly to ensure inventory for the facility is accurate and up to date.
• Lead the warehouse team by delegating tasks to efficiently complete shipping requests.
• Understands all functions of the warehouse and can assist where help is needed.
