JointOps Hospitality Protection is looking for Security personnel. Security personnel are responsible for the overall security and well being of the property, dispensary staff and Guests.

Security personnel should be in regular communication with the dispensary management team to identify areas requiring observation and presence.

The goal of Security is to prevent issues from occurring through active observation and presence. We are looking for full-time and part-time positions.

Essential Functions : Treat all guests with Respect and HospitalityProvide courteous service to all GuestsConfirm location code of conduct is being followed by all Guests Work with management to ensure all policies are being enforcedSupport store management as requested or observed as needing supportMonitor front door and exterior on ground level for code of conduct or policy violationsPrevent conspicuous loitering and ensure smoking distance from the door and patio is properly maintainedIn the event of unruly Guests, Security personnel must maintain professionalism and not engage in verbal altercationsEnsure that unruly guests exit the facility in an orderly mannerIf unruly guests have damaged property or need to resolve their bill, use reasonable verbal intervention to achieve amicable solution between Management and GuestsDeescalation of situations is always preferredRespond to accidents or emergencies, maintaining the safety of Guests and Employees Other Functions : Must be able to attend weekly security meetings according to company standard, communicate to operations managers and maintain positive moraleBe available direct Guests regarding locations of area such as host stand, carryout area, restrooms etc.

Perform perimeter checks occasionally or as directed by ManagementSound alarms or call the police in the case of dangerous criminal activity or call fire department in case of fireMust be able to read and write detailed reports of each shift worked Physical Functions : With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following : Seeing, Hearing, Speaking and Writing clearlyAbility to stand / walk a minimum of 8 hours or as neededMust be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as neededBe able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and able to lift 40 pounds occasionallyWork in both warm and cool environmentsHigh levels of noise from music, Guest and Employee trafficMust be able to tolerate potential allergens : peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish Certifications : PERC20 Hour security certificate
