Fifty/50 Management Group Inc is Hiring a Copy Of Security - JointOps Hospitality Protection Near Chicago, IL

JointOps Hospitality Protection is looking for Security personnel. Security personnel are responsible for the overall security and well being of the property, dispensary staff and Guests. Security personnel should be in regular communication with the dispensary management team to identify areas requiring observation and presence. The goal of Security is to prevent issues from occurring through active observation and presence. We are looking for full-time and part-time positions. Saturday availability is required to be considered for this position. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of previous Security experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Treat all guests with Respect and Hospitality
  • Provide courteous service to all Guests
  • Confirm location code of conduct is being followed by all Guests 
  • Work with management to ensure all policies are being enforced
  • Support store management as requested or observed as needing support
  • Monitor front door and exterior on ground level for code of conduct or policy violations
  • Prevent conspicuous loitering and ensure smoking distance from the door and patio is properly maintained
  • In the event of unruly Guests, Security personnel must maintain professionalism and not engage in verbal altercations
  • Ensure that unruly guests exit the facility in an orderly manner
  • If unruly guests have damaged property or need to resolve their bill, use reasonable verbal intervention to achieve amicable solution between Management and Guests
  • Deescalation of situations is always preferred
  • Respond to accidents or emergencies, maintaining the safety of Guests and Employees

Other Functions:

  • Must be able to attend weekly security meetings according to company standard, communicate to operations managers and maintain positive morale
  • Be available direct Guests regarding locations of area such as host stand, carryout area, restrooms etc.
  • Perform perimeter checks occasionally or as directed by Management
  • Sound alarms or call the police in the case of dangerous criminal activity or call fire department in case of fire
  • Must be able to read and write detailed reports of each shift worked

Physical Functions: With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following:

  • Seeing, Hearing, Speaking and Writing clearly
  • Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed
  • Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as needed
  • Be able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and able to lift 40 pounds occasionally
  • Work in both warm and cool environments
  • High levels of noise from music, Guest and Employee traffic
  • Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
