FIFA World Cup 2026 is Hiring a Manager, FIFA Fan Festival, FIFA World Cup 2026 Near Miami, FL

Reporting organisationally to the Head of FIFA Fan Festival, the FIFA Fan Festival Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich FIFA Fan Festival Project team and other key individuals responsible for delivering the planning, organization, and execution of vibrant and engaging fan festivals that celebrates the spirit of football and provides an unforgettable experience for fans from around the world. Further, this role will oversee various aspects of the fan festivals, including budget management, vendor coordination, entertainment programming, fan engagement activities, security arrangements, in cooperation with the rest of the organization.

THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the FIFA Fan Festival Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:  
  • Assist with the strategic planning, development and execution of the FIFA Fan festival in association with the Commercial Operations team, aligning it with the overall objectives and vision of FIFA World Cup 26.
  • Assist in overseeing the operational aspects of the fan festivals, including budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement to ensure efficient and effective event delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure necessary permits, licenses, and approvals for the fan festivals. 
  • Work with the Head of FIFA Fan Festival and assist in the development of a comprehensive fan engagement strategy, incorporating innovative and immersive experiences to create a memorable and inclusive fan festival atmosphere at each location.
  • Work with Host Cities to oversee all logistical aspects of the fan festival, including site selection, venue setup, infrastructure requirements, and transportation arrangements. 
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure timely delivery of services and products. 
  • Work closely with Marketing and Communications teams to promote the fan festivals, create awareness, and drive attendance through various channels, including social media, advertising, and PR campaigns. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security standards, coordinating with relevant authorities and implementing necessary protocols to safeguard attendees. 
  • Manage the rights and obligations of stakeholders in the fan festival, providing rights delivery services in cooperation with the necessary teams. 
  • Collaborate with local communities to incorporate cultural elements and local traditions into the fan festival, creating a unique and inclusive experience for all visitors. 
  • Manage a team of event staff, volunteers, and contractors, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. 
  • Maintain financial oversight of the fan festival budget, tracking expenses, managing revenue streams, and preparing regular reports for senior management. 
YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Marketing, etc. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in large-scale event management 
  • Experience working in sporting events is necessary 
  • Experience working in major international sporting events is an advantage 
  • Strongly detail-oriented and flexible 
  • Great communication and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure across multiple event sites 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to event sites across the U.S.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team 
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
