FIFA World Cup 2026 is Hiring a Senior Manager, Technology Service Delivery, FIFA World Cup 2026 Near Miami, FL

Reporting organizationally to the Director Event Technology and working closely with the FIFA Technology Head of User Experience, the Service Delivery Manger will be a key member of the FIFA26 Technology team and work in close collaboration with the Technology teams in Mexico, Canada and Zurich and other key individuals and will be responsible for all aspects of Service Delivery Management for Corporate and Tournament technology support operations. 

THE POSITION
As a Technology Service Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of Technology services for FIFA World Cup and associated events. The main responsibilities and oversights of the Service Delivery Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
  • Establish and implement a fit for purpose integrated support model (including FIFA, technology partners, service providers, government entities etc.) across all phases of the project. 
  • Management / implementation of IT Service management processes and procedures including the management of the ITSM tool. 
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs) in accordance with the FIFA Technology Handbook across all technology services.
  • Be the lead manager for Service Delivery area within the FWC26 Technology Project team 
  • Recruitment of direct reports in the next phase of hiring & contracting, who will in turn be responsible to deliver their key area of scope. 
  • Lead on the definition of the Asset tracking and management of deployed equipment in all sites. 
  • Ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed to scope, within budget and on schedule. 
  • Continuously review and make recommendations to improve technology across the tournament.
  • Collaborate with other Technology Managers and the Director of Event Technology to integrate Technology Project Plans, ensuring requirements of all relevant stakeholders are aligned for each event or competition. 
  •  Contribute to the Technology readiness program, including test events and exercises, policies and procedures and training of the team
  • Be a key member of the Technology team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization and FIFA Technology team as defined by the operational organizational structure. 
  • Lead, build and manage a strong diverse team composed of paid staff, contractors, and volunteers for operating the technology services in scope. 

YOUR PROFILE
  • University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field 
  • Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience and minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Experience in the Sports / major event industry is a must 
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT programs and projects 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
