Fiesta Mart LLC is Hiring a Team Lead Production Control Supervisor Near Houston, TX

JOB BRIEF

The Production Specialist is responsible for the daily production and reporting of production to the Plant manager to ensure all production is completed in a safe manner, within the time allotted to complete the work and completed accordance to the operating procedures. Team Lead Production Control/ Supervisors will address Partner Issues as they arise and will communicate Partner issues to the Plant Manager. 

JOB DUTIES

  • Assign daily service orders to maintenance team. Ensures that all maintenance activities in the facility are appropriately carried out
  • Maintains and upholds the quality and standards of the company.
  • Ensures proper working shifts of employees.
  • Interacts with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment in a facility.
  • Complies with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry. Enforces and adheres to company policies, rules and regulations.
  • Assigns work to associates and monitors the timely completion of the work. Assist with daily operations as needed.
  • Complete all required paperwork ensuring associates have correctly filled production line forms.
  • Maintains inventory control based on batches produced on daily basis communicates with Plant Manager on inventory issues.
  • Training and development of new employees.
  • Manage time effectively while meeting all job responsibilities.

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES

  • Maintain confidentiality of all data encountered in work environment.
  • Supervise and train.
  • Present favorable impression in dress, personal hygiene and business attitude. 
  • Other duties assigned by management.
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Two to three years of experience in a supervisory capacity; solid mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and positive outcomes on annual Motor Vehicle Record reports.
  • Store project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
  • Good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
  • Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Physical Demands:

  • Occasionally- Sitting, climbing up to 6 foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and smelling.
  • Frequently- Carrying up to 35 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., lifting up to 35 lbs., manual dexterity, talking, seeing, and hearing.
  • Continuously- standing on tile/concrete, walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.

Safety Risk Factors:

  • Occasionally-Loud noise, slippery or cluttered floor surface, hazardous equipment, contact with sharp objects, contact with skin irritant, toxic exposure (see Material Safety Data Sheets), nuisance dust, fumes, sprays, and hazardous cleaning solutions.
  • Frequently-Twisting of back and neck.

Other:

  • Continuously travel to stores.
  • Working environment involves inside, outside, cold, heat, and wet/humidity.
