Responsibilites:

• Provide residents with medication & treatment administration and care servicesaccordingtothe physician's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatoryguidelines
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and incidents; Observeresidents for safety and reports any and all changes in resident condition effectively,accurately,and in a timely mannertoLN on duty
• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including but not limited to: assisting with bathing,grooming,toileting,dressing,oralcare,ambulation,transfers,servingandassistingwith meals,feeding,housekeeping,bedmaking,andlaundry
• Always observe and uphold resident rights; assist residents to and from meals; Relatetoresidentsin a courteous, empathetic,and cooperative manner
• Must be willing to work with and provide assistance to other staff from all departments toensure quality of care for residents
• Communicates with physicians, via fax and telephone
• Keepenvironment safe andclean for residents
• Performotherrelateddutiesasassignedbysupervisor
• Carryandpossesaworkingknowledgeofcommunitysystems, policies & procedures.
• Observes for and reports resident problems and reports such problems to supervisor

Qualifications:

• MustbeDrugfree
• Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and TB test.
• Must be eighteen (18) years old.
• Maintains current CPR and first aid certification or willing to obtain
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret charting standards, physician orders, or administrative regulations.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate assignments.
• Mustattendrequiredin-services & education tofurthereducationofskillsand community requirements.
• Successfulcompletionofstatecertified AL medication techcourse with certificates available upon hire.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing in standard English.
• The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.

Physical Demands and Requirements:

• Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
• Mustbewillingtobeactiveandonfeetduringentireworkshift.
• Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
• Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
