JOB TITLE: Poolside Café Attendant

REPORTS TO: Clubhouse Manager

SCHEDULE: Starting Friday May,24th 2024 through Monday September 2nd 2024. Days/times will vary based on the event schedule and will include weekends and some holidays.

Description

The Field Club of Greenwich is a preeminent family racket club in the area, with amenities including tennis, squash, platform tennis, swimming, fitness center, and fine dining. The Position

The Poolside Café attendant is responsible for all food and beverage sales and service at the Poolside Café. They are the friendly face members see when they come to enjoy the facility.

Duties

Handles the input and service of food and beverage products as necessary in the Café

Provide prompt and efficient customer service

Always maintain a professional appearance

Maintains the cleanliness of service equipment (i.e. tables, chairs, counters, etc.)

Keeps service areas clean and orderly

Requisitions food and other necessary supplies (where applicable) from kitchen

Performs clean-up and closing procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Delivers food and beverage orders to members

Assists in setting up events at the Pool

Physical, sensory and motor demands: While performing the duties of this position, Employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10 Lbs. and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Required to work in hot and humid conditions.
