Reputable remodeling company looking to hire full-time Carpenter's Assistant and laborer to start immediately.

Carpenter Laborer/Helper will be responsible for assisting carpenters on job-sites with various tasks under the direction of production manager or carpenter.

This role requires working in the field on residential homes and the the daily activities would encompass many phases of residential construction. The right candidate will be reliable and show up on time daily Monday through Friday, they will have a passion for home remodeling and working in the field independently and or alongside experienced carpenters.

The Appropriate Candidate applying for Carpenter Assistant/ Laborer Position will have:

• -Must have a valid driver’s license & their own transportation (no drop offs or pick up’s)
• -Must have basic hand tools & experience with tools
• -Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in the construction field
• -Must have ability to read a measuring tape, operate standard tools including skill-saw/sawzall, & should possess carpentry knowledge.
• -Travel is required through central CT
• -Typical hours are 7:30am to 4pm approximately, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

• - Must have previous construction experience
• - Must have some experience with power and hand tools
• - Must be able to measure and cut materials to specifications
• - Must be clean and neat in appearance
• - Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic
• - Must be a self-starter who is quality minded and detail oriented
• - Must be a team player
• - Must own basic carpentry tools
• - Clean & valid driver’s license required
