The Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for conception, analysis and implementation of internal projects. This role will partner with leaders across our business to understand, identify, and improve processes with the goal of increasing speed and satisfaction for our customers. Ideal candidates must possess excellent communication and planning skills, sound judgment, creative problem-solving abilities, and the ability to quickly adapt to change, along with a strong connection to our company mission.
• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span across products and business units• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to effectively communicate KPIs, accomplishments, and upcoming events to senior leadership• Create and maintain templates for all reporting and project artifacts • Provide project status reports regarding project milestones, dependencies, risks, and project results to senior leadership• Partner with business stakeholders to identify key pain points and existing areas of waste, and highlight process gaps and areas of improvement across assigned, and other business functions• Research, design, run and test processes to optimize productivity and workflow• Manage the implementation of new processes and procedures• Partner with the Quality and Analytics teams to measure efficacy of process changes, quickly pivoting where necessary to ensure success and sustainability• Highlight processes in need of software development and partner with the Software Development team to execute changes• Partner with product, implementation and training teams to effectively educate and roll out new process changes• Maintain Process Maps, SOPs, and project plans to execute on critical business initiatives• Proactively monitors service to ensure on-time delivery• Experience gathering requirements, writing epics/user stories, scope management, defining acceptance criteria, assisting in story points and grooming stories with detailed tasks• Experience in Agile (Scrum, Lean) and Waterfall SDLC with basic knowledge of the Secure Coding frameworks• Demonstrates breadth and depth of techniques and tools for one or many of the following: use case modeling, data modeling, business process modeling, process mapping, business scenarios• Collaborate effectively with Technical Lead/Architect and Project Manager• Ability to effectively convey critical information to all levels within the organization• Effective planning, and organization skills, with the ability to work autonomously with initiative and communicate with management on project plans and progress required• Expert and point-of-contact in core business/domain/user capabilities, processes, services, functions and applications• Serve as a liaison between the various stakeholders and the development teams• Perform or actively participate in agile ceremonies such as product backlog grooming, sprint backlog analysis, technical backlog creation, burndown charts creation during the sprint cycles• Keep the team apprised & provide coaching to junior team members when needed for the agile product ceremonies, system processes, project deliverables, KPIs & success factors• Assist in the creation and monitoring of development activities according to project plans, defining risks, anticipating delays and resolving issues
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience in a Project Manager role at a tech company; Bachelor's degree preferred• Extensive understanding of project and program management methods and practices• Excellent planning and time management skills• Resourceful, able to manage multiple projects at once and shifting priorities and responsibilities with limited supervision• Self-motivated and passionate about providing an excellent customer experience• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business units• Experience with Project Management tools including Visio and Atlassian tools (Jira Software/Confluence).
• PMP Certification, Scrum certification, Six Sigma, Kaizen or Lean helpful.• Demonstrated understanding of methods and procedures for all phases of project management life cycle.• Advanced knowledge of Project Management policies, practices and systems.• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and active listening skills.• Superior project management, time management, and communication management skills- required to plan, organize, and direct the overall production of a project.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have several projects in your active portfolio.• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.• Strong critical thinking, appropriate judgment, and logical decision-making skills.• Ability to solve problems using deductive and inductive reasoning and see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance.• Ability to sense and forecast problem areas.• Ability to coordinate across various groups and functional teams.
