This role manages and leads a team of Communications Consultants (CCs) who are responsible for building effective communication & education (C&E) plans, consulting with clients and executing programs to engage participants in their workplace benefits and address the needs of their plan sponsors. The ideal candidate will coach individual contributors on effectively consulting with clients to highlight Fidelity’s value proposition and proposing relevant C&E solutions to address plan and participant needs. This role must build positive relationships with internal business partners and influence others to provide support and assist with issues. This leader will interact directly with clients periodically to support their CCs, help resolve issues, and address customer concerns. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas to the group, be willing to try new things and lead broad-based initiatives.
The Vice President, Communications Consulting position is part of the Analytics, Marketing & Communications team within Fidelity’s Tax-Exempt Market business unit where we serve nonprofit employers and their employees. These organizations are mission-driven and strive to provide their employees, who frequently serve others, with benefits programs that support their evolving needs. The Communications team works closely with their clients (plan sponsors) and provides consulting, content development and execution for programs that inform and educate employees about their workplace benefits. The VP is responsible for client and participant satisfaction for Fidelity’s communication and education platforms, and proactively identifies and participates in critical initiatives that will positively impact Fidelity, our associates, and our clients.

At Fidelity, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we’re calling “Dynamic Working”. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity work location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks.
