Job Description

As a Civil Professional Engineer at Ahneman Kirby, you will play a key role in the design, construction, and management of a wide range of civil engineering projects. From concept development to project completion, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Designing civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water supply systems, and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Performing structural analysis, hydraulic analysis, and geotechnical analysis.
• Overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Managing project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Staying current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in CT required.
• 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
