JOB OVERVIEW.

The Claims Quality Assurance Analyst is a key member of the Insurance team that will assist in supporting the Claims and Compliance groups at Fetch. This role is a good fit for you if you enjoy process development, have excellent analytical skills, an ability to juggle multiple priorities, and are seeking an opportunity to be part of building a claims quality assurance (QA) framework to support Fetch’s rapid growth. This role will report directly into the VP of Insurance Operations with a dotted line to the Sr. Director of Claims.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Working with Claims and Insurance team leaders to design, implement, and conduct an effective QA process to identify trends and training opportunities
  • Leading internal claims audits as required by our carrier partners
  • Analyzing, compiling, and presenting data regarding QA metrics to all levels of the organization
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of claim handling procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting regulatory research to support development of compliant claims handling practices
  • Providing assistance in refinement of standards of excellence, best practices, and training materials
  • Developing and monitoring process enhancements that support Fetch’s claims operations, promoting a culture of service excellence and firm adherence to regulatory compliance requirements
  • Providing support for external claims audits and market conduct activities


REQUIRED SKILLS.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or 5 years of experience in P&C insurance industry with 2 years of claim handling experience
  • Claims QA, Pet Insurance, and/or Insurtech experience is a plus
  • Active Property & Casualty Adjuster License or active Accident and Health with Pet Limited Lines license is a plus
  • Exhibits deep knowledge regarding insurance, claims operations, regulatory compliance requirements, policy forms, and IT applications
  • Ability to effectively leverage resources to independently solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Intellectually curious with desire to learn and improve processes
  • Ability to make sound decisions that maintain compliance with jurisdictional requirements
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to research topics, organize information, and clearly communicate findings
