We are currently looking for a: Water Country - Security Supervisor Roles & Responsibilities: A Security Supervisor should enjoy engaging with guests while providing superior security and safety. The perfect candidate should be able to recognize and successfully manage a variety of security scenarios, while maintaining the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Successful candidate must possess at least 1-2 years verifiable security experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with some light computer and strong interpersonal skills required. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of security team members Must be able to manage a diverse team and develop a seasonal leadership group Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills Oversee bag check operation and enforce all policies, procedures and general park rules as needed Administer training within the department, which will provide well-trained employees at all levels Responsible for opening and closing procedures for park. Maintain a clean safe work environment. Provide superior service to our guests in a polite and friendly manner Assist guests with all questions regarding the park, including facility layout and policies Assist other departments as needed Other duties as assigned SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old Must possess at least 1-2 years verifiable security experience. Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time Ability to communicate with guests in professional manner while enforcing park polices Demonstrates excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions Recognizes and promptly communicates or remedies safety concerns Team member benefits: Working at Water Country is about making people happy.
