We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team at Fellowship Village, a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Our team provides services to residents in Sub-Acute Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients, develop appropriate treatment goals and methods, implement the physical therapy treatment plan, and complete all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
- Instructs client in the skills and techniques required for participation in mobility activities, and evaluates client progress, attitudes, and behavior as related to rehabilitative potential.
- Adapts program according to the needs of the individual client.
- Puts customer service first: ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual’s needs and rights.
- Possesses an understanding of and support of the mission and philosophy of Fellowship Village.
- Provides supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants including case conferencing, co-signing treatment notes, and onsite client supervisory visits.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association and certified by the American Physical Therapy Association under its requirements.
- Current and Valid NJ PTA license
- Availability to work one weekend day per month
