Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey is seeking a multi-dimensional, student-centric, innovative and creative student support specialist to serve as a College Navigator for Academic Support Services. Reporting to the College Navigator Manager, the Navigator promotes retention academic success. S/he engages with students in a variety of student support services to ensure progression towards graduation leading to career, working in collaboration with faulty, various student support professionals and students to provide service and support throughout their Felician University education.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for up to two years of required education on a year-to-year basis.
Qualifications:
Two years of related experience in student services on a college campus or in a community agency that provides comparable services to students or diverse community members; demonstrated experience working with minority students, at-risk students, and students from a variety of cultural/ethnic/religious backgrounds; computer and technological literacy skills and willingness to work with new software and other technologies; an innovative and collaborative spirit; excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, and attention to detail; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the
University; fluent in (Spanish and English) and comfortable communicating via a variety of channels, including in person, phone, and email; willingness and ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
