Qualifications:
- Current CNA Certification
- Current CPR/ADE & CPI
- Successful completion of a criminal background check & Medicaid exclusion list verification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Assist clients with activities of daily living and with AM and/or PM care
- Observe and report changes in clients physical, mental or social status
- Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment
- Maintain neat and appropriate documentation of care rendered to clients
- Maintain client's and company's confidentiality
- Attend mandatory in-services, as deemed necessary by the facility
- Complete required annual 12-hours of continued education or in-services to maintain certification
- Perform physical activities that may require climbing, lifting, walking, balancing, stooping and handling of materials
- May be required to provide orientation for new CNAs
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic
- Professional verbal and written communication
- 90-days initial; annually thereafter
