Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Perform account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy

- Maintain general ledger accounts

- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable

- Assist with tax preparation and audits

- Follow GAAP guidelines in all financial transactions

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities

- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes

Skills:

- Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software and MS Excel

- Strong understanding of accounting principles

- Experience in public accounting is a plus

- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance

- Previous experience as an account clerk or bookkeeper is preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
