Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cake baker / Decorator to join our team. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for baking our in house recipes and creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for our customers.

Duties:

- Prepare cake batters and icings following recipes
- Bake cakes to perfection
- Decorate cakes using various techniques such as piping, fondant, and edible decorations
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all cakes meet company standards
- Package finished products for display or delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with cake selection and customization

Requirements:

- Proven experience in food production, particularly in cake decorating
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives and pastry bags
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to bake various types of cakes with precision
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake decoration
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with baking techniques and pastry arts
- Experience in customer service roles within a bakery or food service environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
